INDIANAPOLIS – Yeah, WWE really hit it big with this year’s Royal Rumble! Breaking the record for the largest single-night gate in company history is huge, especially considering all the massive WrestleMania events they’ve had. Plus, setting new highs in viewership and merchandise sales shows how strong the brand still is under Triple H’s leadership.

It makes sense, too—this year’s Rumble had a stacked card, major surprises, and a lot of buzz going in.

Those numbers are insane! A 14% jump in Peacock viewership, nearly doubling merchandise sales, and a massive 94% increase in sponsorship revenue? WWE is clearly thriving under Triple H’s leadership.

The international boost from Netflix must’ve played a big role, and it’s cool to see WWE finally making major moves with streaming beyond the U.S. Plus, hosting the Rumble in an NFL stadium like Lucas Oil Field was a smart move—it really gave the event that “big-time” feel.

Charlotte Flair and Jey Uso winning their respective Rumbles is interesting. Jey’s win must have been a huge moment, considering his rise in popularity. And Cody Rhodes retaining in a ladder match against Kevin Owens sounds like it was a brutal, must-see bout.

Also, Bron Breakker spearing IShowSpeed? No wonder that clip broke records—Speed always gets crazy reactions, and Bron’s spear is a beastly move.

With WWE committing to more big events in Indianapolis, do you think they’ll bring WrestleMania there in the next few years?
